The flag airline of Russia, Aeroflot, is the largest carrier of the country. Its head office is in Moscow, with the main hub at Sheremetyevo International Airport. Founded on 25 February 1932, it grew into one of the world’s biggest carriers during the Soviet era. Presently, it operates passenger and cargo services to over 146 destinations. For these operations, it uses a fleet of around 357 aircraft, including planes from Airbus and Boeing.
